Transfer planning
Identify documents, photos, email, browser data, cloud files, and special applications before copying begins.
New computer setup
Move to a new computer with the important files, accounts, applications, printers, security, and backup handled in a sensible order.
A practical approach
A data transfer should not simply copy every old folder and problem onto a new device. We first identify what must move, which applications need fresh installation, where email and cloud files already live, and which old data can be archived rather than placed back into daily use.
Setup can include operating-system and firmware updates, user accounts, Microsoft 365 or other email, browsers, printers, password-manager access, security settings, and backup. The old computer is not erased until the new setup has been checked and the customer decides how the old device will be retained, reused, or retired.
Identify documents, photos, email, browser data, cloud files, and special applications before copying begins.
Apply updates, configure accounts, install required applications, and avoid unnecessary software from the old device.
Reconnect printers, scanners, external storage, cloud services, and other equipment used regularly.
Check important files and workflows, establish backup, and keep a rollback period before the old device is retired.
Common questions
Not always. Some applications require new installation, licensing, vendor support, or are incompatible with the new system. We identify these limitations before promising a complete transfer.
Only when requested and after the new setup and important data have been verified. Erasure is treated as a separate, deliberate step.
Yes. Setup can include Microsoft 365 or other email, OneDrive, browsers, printers, updates, security, and backup.
Start with the situation
Describe the equipment, people affected, timing, and the outcome you need. We will help identify the next practical step.
